Figure skating was originated in Europe, it was first stared by an Ameri gage though named Jackson Haines. Jackson was born in New York in 1840 and died in 1875 in Finland from Tuberculosis. on that point was a big skating/ move craze they called it because it swept America because of the combination that Haines did with bringing Dance into the rink. There was local skating clubs that had been formed and also competitions but nothing somber was made from it until well-nigh days after the 19th century. In 1921 was when Figure skating was made and officially created from a Skating Association ( hunch overn as U.S. Figure Skating). When the Association was made later on through the years more association s made and now there are more than 600 associations passim the country.
